Compliance

One device on the counter, not two

The digital work card is mandatory in food service. The question is not whether you comply, but whether complying needs a separate machine.

Submission protocol no. 20260829-004712

Three punches, three submission receipts, one machine.

In one paragraph

The ERGANI module lets staff clock in and out from the same till they use for orders, by scanning their card or entering a PIN. The event is submitted to the ERGANI II system and the receipt is stored beside the recorded time, so there is an audit trail.

How it works, in four steps

  1. 01

    Register the staff

Employees already exist in Makker for shifts and cash balances.

  2. 02

    Punch the card

Scan or PIN at the till, at the start and end of the shift.

  3. 03

    The submission leaves

From the server, not the browser, retrying if the network is flaky.

  4. 04

    The receipt stays

The protocol number is kept beside the time and exported whenever it is asked for.

What it includes

No second device
The till you already own does the card scanner's job too.
Queue with retry
If the service does not answer, the event is not lost — it retries and tells you.
Audit trail
Who punched, when, from which machine and with what submission result.
Alongside shifts
Actual hours sit next to the roster, so discrepancies are visible.
Multiple venues
Staff who work in two venues punch at the right one, with no duplicate record.

FAQ

What people ask before they start

Does it replace my accountant?

No. It covers marking the start and end of a shift; staff filings and payroll stay with your accountant.

What if the internet drops mid-shift?

The time is recorded locally and submitted once the connection returns, with the real timestamp.

Do I need ERGANI credentials?

Yes — the submission uses your business's own credentials. We show you where they go, and nobody else sees them.

See it with your own menu and your own tables

Tell us a little about the venue and we will show you Makker set up with your own data — catalog, tables, documents.
