FAQ
What people ask before they start
How much does a restaurant POS system cost?
Makker starts at €49 per month per venue, excluding VAT, with the first point of sale included. The Pro plan, which covers most venues with a kitchen and delivery, is €89 per month. Hardware is separate and can be bought or leased monthly.
Is there a lock-in?
The software subscription is monthly and you stop it with 30 days' notice. Hardware leasing has its own minimum term, stated in the contract before you sign it.
Do prices include VAT?
No — every price on the page excludes VAT, because we sell only to businesses. The applicable rate is added on the invoice.
What does setup cost?
Setup, catalog import and training are €290 one-off, and are not charged at all if you choose annual billing.
What happens to my data if I leave?
You take it. Sales, documents, catalog and customer register export in an open format, whenever you ask and with no exit fee.
Do you charge per order or per table?
Never. Billing is per venue and per point of sale. A busy Friday costs no more than an empty Monday.
